graduation

3 cheers for Kindergarten graduation!!
Sara's class along with the other kindergarten classes had their program last week, and oh what a great program it was! They sang songs and had little speaking parts, of course shy little sara (yes, you read that right!) had a dancing part not speaking. It was so great. I felt like crying through the whole thing, one song in paticular, I'm proud to be an american (is that even the title of the song? if not you know what song I mean right?) had almost the whole audience in tears! They sang that song so loud and proud, just thinking about it brings tears! After the program it was off to the classroom for awards and the graduation hats!
Doesn't she look thrilled in this photo! She hate's things around her chin.
We all made it including Staci and the Grandmas!
This is Sara's wonderful teacher, I was very happy with her! She does a great job!
And Sara's #1 fans!
Now it's off to 1st grade!!

my grandpa he's 95

I thought it would be fun to make this title a line out of a song....and you can all try and guess who the singer is! It happens to be Sara's favorite song right now and this blog is about her and her DANCE (hint) recital.

All these years I have put off putting Sara in dance for 2 reasons! 1-Money, and 2-I didn't want to try and live my dreams through my daughter. Plus she never really seemed interested. Well some neighbors and I decided to put our daughters in the little dance program at the local rec. center this past winter season, and they just had their recital! It was so much more fun than I expected! AND She really did so well!! She never practiced at home, and so I was half expecting her to not really know the dance and to my surprise she not only knew the whole thing, but she was on beat!!! Maybe she does have a little of me in her.
This picture I took right before the dance rehearsal, she had to pose!

This one was at the recital. She asked a few days before if "Dad could bring her flowers to the recital!" How in the world she knew about that I'll never know. Her friend told her dad..."roses or tulips please." They are quite a pair her and her friend. Matt pulled through like usual with some pretty Gerber daisy's.

Now my only thought is where do I go from here, I don't think I want her to continue at the rec. center, because I think she shows great potential. However at the same time I want her to really want to take dance on her own. I also want to be able to afford to take her to a more professional dance studio that can give her some good training. She has informed us that she wants to take dance, soccer, and swimming lessons this summer. If only we were made of money to really do that:) She will just have to dream of that in the mean while.

date night

Now that I am pregnant with my fourth, I am suddenly worried about being able to give each child the attention that they need! I find it hard already with three. I have heard of people that will take each kid out individually once a month so that that child feels of their love for them. I would love to do that, but I feel like that is a little too much for me to do these days. However when the opportunity presents itself, I've promise myself to take full advantage of it, as does Matt. He does it a bit better than I do actually.

Well thanks to my parents I did have an opportunity to have a date night with my little Zacky. (side note: just yesterday I heard Zack telling Curtis that when he was a baby his name was Zacky and now it's just Zack!)

I was able to take Zack to see the Lippizaner Stallions a few weeks ago. Others that attended were, Heather and Scott, Jared and Sarah, Stac and Natalie, my Parents, and grandparents, and Aunt Lisa and Uncle Paul. And here are some pictures:

My cute date

This horse did an amazing jump, I caught the beginning of it. They were really big horses.

The horses were so well trained this is them walking diagonally. I couldn't figure out how to take good pictures in that lighting, can you tell? :)

It lasted a bit too long for this cowboy! He is such a sweetheart! I love him to death and am grateful to have had a date night just with him!

what blog?

Do I have a blog? you ask.....not lately. I have not been in the mood to blog lately, not one little bit! The other day I was outside with my kids and saw a lady walking her dog, rather her dog walking her! And I realized that was me and life these days! Life is walking me, or maybe running me. I know I need to take control, and there are many moments that I do, however for the most part, my life is controling me. I have a million things to post and have goals to do it this week soooo.....this week will be the test to see if I have the will power to take back my life into my hands! (by the way my life is mostly my kids so they are the ones pulling me along.)
