we are all crazy about this man!!!

There is one man that my kids and I adore more than any other man it the world!! And his special day is coming up! Here are a few reasons why we love him!

(KIDS reasons)

He wrestles with us every night (right before bedtime, just when mom thinks we don't need to have fun;)

He reads to us every night. (which is a big deal because he hates to read!)

He plays in the snow with us. (mom really loves this one!)

He works hard on our house.

He takes us to Cabelas

He takes us camping, and 4-wheeling, and teaches us about guns.

He takes turns taking one of us at a time to the store with him.

He lets us play games on his phone.

He really is a kid at heart, and I think that is why he is so good with our kids! (Mine)

He's hot!

He will draw me baths (sorry no picture for this one!)

He loves me no matter what comes out of my mouth.

He's super smart.
I love that he loves food so much

He love HIS Spain! He will go grocery shopping for me
He is a family man, he especially loves to be with his brothers. He will rub my back while throwing up, and then clean any mess it makes!

He works on our house so hard all the time

He washes my car

He can cook, if needed

He bbq's and is the breakfast maker!

He knows when I'm about to break as a mother and will take over.

He doesn't complain about me and my faults

He is greatest deal maker ever with our kids.

He is spiritual, and insightful.

I love his passion for things, like hunting or biking. Ok I really could go on forever, only because I think he is the best!

from baby to big boy

I am sure that most of you "moms" out there must share my feelings about potty training. It is the worst! If I had to rank things that I hate to do as a mom for my kids, I think potty training might be number 1! With that being said, I have dragged out potty training Curtis for quite a while! We had such a hard time with Sara, so with Zack and Curtis I waited, until I knew for sure they were ready.

Well this past week I finally gave in and started the potty training. we have been at it for a week and a half, and I am happy to report that yesterday we had "no accidents!" AND we only ever did have one pooping accident! I have been very blessed with this child! He even chants "go curtis go curtis" when he goes poop! (that was encouraged by his older siblings!) I should give most of the credit to my two sweet children, Sara and Zack for they truly helped their younger brother out. They were his cheerleaders every step of the way! I know I should claim victory yet, but I am convinced that it will only get easier with him. So for any of you out there trying to potty train your first, and hate it to death, just know that the 2nd and 3rd get easier, because of the older siblings examples! Well at least that has been my experience. So now my baby is no longer my baby but a big boy! (just in time to have another baby eh?)

not fair

So I am 12.5 wks and I am SHOWING...meaning my belly is sticking out! (And it's not a cute little ball either!) Don't get me wrong I am excited to be pregnant, but do I really have to be showing already? Is it really because it's my 4th? Those of you who have had your 4th, was it the same with you? I really am trying to embrace this pregnancy and not worry about how big I get, so I just want to get it out now! Thanks.

what's up

So I have taken a leave of absence this past month due to sickness that I would rather not discuss. I am getting better, but have about 6 more weeks of it, I'm afraid.

There is only one main thing that happen this last month that is worth blogging about. NASCAR!!! We traveled down to mesquite again for the annual nascar trip! I did fairly well...considering the whole pregnancy thing. It has become one of our favorite things to do. Mainly because it gives us a weekend to ourselves, the kids stay with the most wonderful parents ever! We are very lucky and thankful to have them. Our favorite driver is Carl Edwards and although he didn't win this year, it was still so fun! It has become quite entertaining. We didn't take any pictures, but got some good footage on video.
